Magnetic Cable Clips, 6 Pack

Who it's for

For anyone whose charging cable keeps sliding off the desk or nightstand and falling behind it: six small clips you stick on the edge, and the cable stays where your hand finds it. Skip it if your cables are thicker than 7.5 mm (most laptop power cords) or if the surface is textured, fabric or unfinished wood.

What it is

Six black clips, each with a square base and a lid hinged at the back. The lid has a magnet: you lift it, lay the cable in the channel, and it snaps shut on its own (the product photo shows the three steps: open, put the cable on, automatically close). Adhesive pad underneath.

Size: each clip is 2 × 2 × 1.5 cm (0.79 × 0.79 × 0.59 in), 4 g each; fits cables under 7.5 mm (product description). Shipped weight of the pack: 43 g (1.5 oz).

Material: ABS and PC plastic. Colour: black.

How we prove it

Scenario: With buyer reviews. Trust comes from what we can show you, not from star ratings.

• Size, material, warehouse stock and shipping time, checked against the official product data.
• Every photo checked one by one against the exact version we sell.
• Sales and reviews of the same product in another store, matched by photo. They are a signal, not our proof.
• Our own hands-on test of a sample: pending. Until it is done, this report says so, and we tell you exactly what is still unproven.

What buyers say

Most recent buyer review in other stores: none.

New at Tavrov: no reviews from people who bought it here yet.

There are no reviews of this exact listing in other stores yet.

The same clip in another store (matched by photo: the same square base and hinged magnetic lid; that store sells it in black and white, 1, 6 or 12 pieces) shows 10,000+ sold, an average of 4.6 from 6,376 reviews. These are not Tavrov reviews.

What we checked ourselves

• Photos vs. name: the product photos show the black magnetic clip and the open / put cable on / close steps.
• Size per clip and the cable limit (under 7.5 mm), as the product data states them.
• Ships from a US warehouse: 21 packs there today. 3–7 days.
• Hands-on test of a sample (how strong the magnet holds a USB-C cable, how long the adhesive lasts on a desk edge): pending.
• 3D model with the Tavrov ruler at real scale: done. On the product page you can turn it and set it next to a US quarter, a credit card or a phone, at real size.

Cons

• No buyer reviews of this exact listing yet; the market signal is the same clip in another store.
• Cables thicker than 7.5 mm do not fit.
• The adhesive needs a flat, clean, smooth surface; the product data does not say whether it comes off without marks, so we do not say it either.
• Only 21 packs in the US warehouse today.

US compliance (what we can prove)

• US government recall database (CPSC) searched for "cable clip": no recall on record.

• Recalls: US government recall database (CPSC), searched "cable clip" and "magnetic cable": 0 recalls. The CPSC magnet standard (16 CFR part 1262) covers toys-like products (entertainment, jewelry, stress relief) with loose magnets; this clip is a cable organizer with the magnet fixed in the lid.
