Tavrov Report · Self-cleaning pet grooming brush (grey)
Who it's for
For cat and dog owners who brush at home and want to drop the loose hair in the bin with one press, without picking it out of the bristles. Skip it if your dog has a thick double coat that mats: you will want a metal undercoat rake.
What it is
A plastic grooming brush with thin pins and a button that pushes the collected hair off the pins.
Brush size (supplier's description): 18 × 9.5 cm (7.1 × 3.7 in). Shipped box: 24 × 14 × 3 cm, 140 g (4.9 oz).
Material: plastic (supplier). Colours: we sell the grey one.
How we prove it
Scenario: With buyer reviews. Trust comes from what we can show you, not from star ratings.
- Official supplier data (size, material, stock in the US warehouse, shipping time), checked on 2026-10-29.
- Every photo checked one by one against the exact version we sell.
- Reviews from buyers of other stores, shown with their date and source, low ratings included. They are a signal, not our proof.
- Our own hands-on test of a sample: pending. Until it is done, this report says so, and we tell you exactly what is still unproven.
What buyers say
Most recent buyer review on the supplier's platform: February 2026 (source: CJ Dropshipping official API).
New at Tavrov: no reviews from people who bought it here yet.
On the supplier's platform (CJ Dropshipping, official API, checked 10/29/2026): 41 reviews, average 4.98 — 40 five-star, 1 four-star, none below, from 18 countries (3 from the US), May 2023 to Feb 2026. These are buyers of other stores, not Tavrov's.
Honest note: most of these reviews are one line ("Excellent!", "Recommend") and none has a photo. We treat them as a weak signal, not proof.
What we checked ourselves
- Photos vs. name, one by one: grey brush with the push-to-clean button (10/29/2026).
- Weight and box size of the exact variant we sell.
- Ships from the supplier's US warehouse: 25 units there today. 3–8 days. If US stock runs out, we pause the page.
- Hands-on test of a sample (pins on a real coat, button pushing hair off): pending.
- 3D model with the Tavrov ruler at real scale: done. On the product page you can turn it and set it next to a US quarter, a credit card or a phone, at real size.
Cons
- Plastic, not metal: lighter, but the button mechanism is the part most likely to wear.
- No review mentions very long or matted coats; we do not claim it handles them.
- Reviews on the supplier platform are short and photo-less.
Safety
Not a children's product. Brush gently; stop if the skin turns red. Not for wounds or irritated skin.
